To mark the 85th birthday on 6th April of the late father of Indian film preservation, P K Nair – who died in 2016 – Tim Concannon and Shruti Narayanswamy reflect on his life and work in conversation with his friends, students and colleagues who continue Nair’s work to conserve and celebrate South Asia’s vast treasure house of cinema.
